The Kevin Kastning Unit was a Boston-based acoustic jazz quartet which existed solely as a performance and recording vehicle for my jazz compositions. I've composed over 200 jazz pieces, so the group stayed pretty busy. The Unit was comprised of guitar (me), tenor and / or soprano saxophone, double bass, and drums. Saxophone duties were performed by Carl Clements.
